I am just a regular guy - a family man - who has had remarkable success in the Multi Level Marketing or Network Marketing industry. I’m not pretty, or even trim. I have only average intelligence. I don’t have or want a Mazarati or a Learjet. I do have 2 nearly new vehicles, a beautiful home, and another nice vacation home on a year-around stream in the woods, and a few other expensive toys - and all are paid for. I am debt free. I can travel anywhere I want and play any time I want. I only work now because I want to – I don’t need to any longer. If that sounds good to you, then let me share my story with you: My Past LifeI was a successful lawyer, making a good living, but seriously stressed by the day-to-day business of fighting with folks for a living on behalf of clients. I worked 60 hours a week, and was a stranger to my family.And my work was so negative. I kept telling myself that I wanted to be a builder, not a fighter. So, I looked for something that would bring a more positive and upbeat balance to my days in the legal trenches. I saw Network Marketing or MLM as just the ticket. At my neighbor’s urging I joined his network marketing opportunity. I started telling everyone I knew about the company’s wonderful products and equally amazing opportunity. The concept of getting ahead by helping others to get ahead was exciting to me. I had been right- everything about the company, the opportunity and about the MLM industry generally was upbeat and exciting. I was hooked. But No MLM Success, YetMy wife would ask, “But are you making any money?” No – I wasn’t, but I was sure learning how to spend it. I went to meetings - little ones and big ones. I made a list of friends and relatives – and slowly but surely alienated most of them.The three foot rule translated into “No One Wanted To Come Within Three Feet Of Me”. I became an MLM Stalker. I tried to build it, but nobody came. I bought leads that my upline recommended, and called them. In the days before unlimited cell service or voip, I had long distance bills of over $1000 a month, and “No, we’re still not making any money, sweetheart,” I would have to admit. It was tough, but I told myself I was an MLM Survivor. A Lucky BreakAfter trying 3 or 4 companies, I stumbled into an opportunity where my upline actually knew the secrets to building a large organization quickly and efficiently, and they were willing to teach me – coach me – spill all the beans.I followed their instructions – their system – to the T and moved from “newbie” to the top position in the marketing plan in less than 90 days, and “ Yes, we are making money, sweetie, lots of it.” Almost over-night I could no longer afford to practice law. I quit, closed my practice and have never looked back. That was 19 years ago, and I have enjoyed a “carpet commute” ever since. I went from 3-piece suits to working from home in my underwear – actually I started wearing shorts and a tee shirt when our new housekeeper caught me sitting in the study in my underwear. In the nearly 2 decades since, I have built large organizations in only 3 companies. I just told you about the first. My Own MLM Success SystemThe second was in a company offering nutrition products. I took what I had learned and created my own recruiting system and built a downline organization that included more than one-third of all the distributors and all the sales for the entire company. That Organization I built using a self-funding direct mail system.One More System Leads To Huge MLM SuccessTo prove that I had mastered the process, I took the skills I had learned to a new company – created a new system – this time beginning to harness the internet.Just one year later, I had a downline organization of 28,800 people. And no, I didn’t bring any of the people over from my previous opportunities. Each organization was built from scratch. I was indeed an MLM Survivor! Then I RetiredI sold that organization for more than enough to retire on and didn’t work for a whole year. We went to Europe, wandered the US, Canada and Mexico, took some cruises, built a second vacation home, and I was able to do a lot of volunteer work.But you can only stay idle for so long. I don’t have to work, but this is hardly work when you have the "know how" and use an efficient system. Then I Got Bored, So…I spent several years studying internet marketing, social media marketing, email marketing and now have a system that works and is fully automated – people actually call and email me asking to join my primary program.My new system is designed around the tools of the 21st century. Why? Because these new tools are far more effective and far less expensive than the old-school ways still being taught by other “self-proclaimed” Gurus in the industry. And It Is Cheaper Than Any Other System
I used to spend thousands upfront to build my business. Now I don’t. I spend little on ads and I don’t buy any leads or make cold calls at all, yet my phone rings off the hook and people actually pay me to get on my prospect list - even when they don’t join my primary program. |
